This check asks an IPv6-only public echo service from your browser. It is not a DNS leak test, and seeing IPv6 does not prove a VPN leak.

What this tool does not do
- It cannot prove that a VPN, proxy, or Tor is in use.
- It does not test DNS leaks or malware. A visible public IPv6 address is not a VPN leak by itself.
- It is not a security audit, legal advice, or a guarantee of privacy.
- Location fields are only shown when a free lookup provider actually returns them.
What a public IPv6 address means
IPv6 is a normal way to reach the internet. If this page shows an address, an IPv6-only lookup service received it from your current connection. That address is publicly visible in that request. Dual-stack networks often have both IPv4 and IPv6.
This is not evidence that a VPN is off, broken, or leaking. Some VPNs provide IPv6 on purpose. Some networks have no IPv6 at all. A timeout or failed lookup is reported as no IPv6 connectivity observed — not as a pass or a leak.
What this test does not do
It does not test DNS, does not inspect every app on your device, and does not store the result after you leave the page. The only network calls are the IPv6-only lookups themselves, with a timeout and a fallback provider.
